Still Obsessed

For it is in the totality of experienced reckoned with, filed, and forgotten, that each man is truly different from all others in the world.

Cedar City

I'm only a couple posts away from being completely caught up on our adventures this summer! Woot Woot! :)

In August, we drove down to Cedar City, saw a play at the Shakespeare Festival, visited friends, and hiked Angels Landing.

We started the trip by checking out the local cuisine. And I must say.. it was excellent.

Their famous Nutella crepes. Yum :)

At the festival, we went to see Peter and the Starcatcher.

It's a prequel to Peter Pan. I was a bit unsure about the choice, but it did not disappoint. Extremely enjoyable. :)

Had to get a few pictures with Will of course. :)

After the show, we visited friends and hiked Angels Landing in Zion's.

It really was amazing.

and exhausting!

but completely worth it. :)

Overall, great trip.

Ray Bradbury

...he sure is one quotable guy...

"Learning to let go should be learned before learning to get. Life should be touched, not strangled. You've got to relax, let it happen at times, and at others move forward with it."

"If we listened to our intellect we'd never have a love affair. We'd never have a friendship. We'd never go in business because we'd be cynical: "It's gonna go wrong." Or "She's going to hurt me." Or, "I've had a couple of bad love affairs, so therefore..." Well, that's nonsense. You're going to miss life. You've got to jump off the cliff all the time and build your wings on the way down."

Fall :):)

Fall is coming quickly!

I've decided Fall is almost worth Nick being extremely busy again.
Almost. ;)

Hello sweaters
and hot chocolate.
The color orange,
falling leaves,
and pumpkin anything!
Oh how I've missed you....

Okay, okay... I'm jumping the gun a little bit.
Considering it was in the 80's today, and I wore a t-shirt and capris to work... I could be jumping the gun a lot....
(A lot.... snort*chuckle*chuckle)
-see previous post to understand the madness-

But I can't help it!
Halloween is pretty much my favorite holiday. :)
I've had my Halloween decorations up since the first week in September.
Love them!

Plus!
I can't help but love football season.
I don't even watch very much of it.
It's just nostalgic.
:)

Great start to the season with
The U vs. USU

Go Utah State!
Sorry U of U, I'm an Aggie at heart.
And we almost had you! ;)
Stinkin' onside kick...

However...
I am sad to see all of our summer adventures slowing down.

For instance,
No more sleep overs with these cool cats...

Girls Rule :)

While I was at work,
Nick took them to the Salt Lake City Library.
And I'm not gonna lie...
it's a pretty sweet library.
:)

Although...
this is the only picture I found of them actually reading...
;)

Then they enjoyed the park for awhile...

I got off work early and we spent the rest of the day at Trafalga in Lehi.
The best part, of course. ;)

Yes. I did feel like that kiddy ride was going to break with Nick and I on it.
Totally worth it.
:):)

The only other part of our adventure I wish we would have captured is laser tag! But we were so busy getting suited up, we missed our picture!

In case you're dying to know.. the green team (AKA Team Voldemort) totally cleaned house!

I know, I know..
this is turning into an extremely long post, but as I'm already posting niece and nephew pictures, I couldn't resist adding our visit with these guys...

Nick hard at work...
torturing little kids..
;)

So happy I caught the karate chopping action that was going on.
Cause there's nothing better than showing this water who's boss.

I realize now that I never got a picture of the adults.
Other than this one, ha!
Those kids were just too dar n cute.

Well I definitely think that's enough for one night. :)
