Quote of the Week! :)

A quote in light of Thanksgiving. (Even though it's technically past.)

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”

Happy Fake Anniversary! :)

I'm pretty sure I go in blog phases.
Last month I was very pro blog.
This month I kept thinking about blogging and then realized the month was more than halfway over.
Oh well :)

So I thought it would be fun to give a little background about the picture of Nick and I above. Last night he took me out to dinner at Red Lobster, then we rented a movie. It was an awesome date night! :) Well, I'm trying to be better about taking pictures. I know, I know it's been my goal for over a year now, but I promise I'm getting better. I just don't want to look back on these times without having any physical reminder of the good times. Even if they're just silly dinner and movie date nights. Scratch that. Especially the small things like silly dinner date nights at Red Lobster. Anyway... I wanted a picture of us and taking them by ourselves wasn't working, but I didn't want to ask someone. Asking someone to take a picture of us in front of a restaurant just seemed a bit...embarrassing. haha To make me feel better about it, Nick may have told this other couple that we were celebrating our anniversary when he asked them to take the picture. They were really happy for us of course and offered their congratulations. It made for a very fun fake anniversary that I'll never forget.

Anyway..
Life is still good.
Especially since school is almost out!
Super excited for the holidays... :)
